about

This is the song that documents Collective Spirit's journey to, and arrival in Portsmouth. Along the way, we encounter a loose jib-sheet, 25 knot winds, choppy seas, a songwriter lying face down in the open transom trying to free a stuck engine bracket and a welcome of a 600 strong choir and 3000 waving people into the city.
